GREAT EXCEPT THE TRANSMISSION

A DEFECTIVE DESIGN FEATURE CAUSING UNSAFE TRANSMISSION SHIFTING AT LOW SPEEDS AND LEXUS FAILURE TO ACKNOWLDGE OR FIX IT SPOILS AN OTHERWISE GREAT CAR. - 4.0

We bought this car used, 12 years old with 56,000 miles. It is the best car i’ve driven! It’s got plenty of power, handles nice and does great in the snow, especially with the AWD system. I use this car for commuting, and the leather heated seats are extremely comfortable to be stuck in. The back seat is also very comfortable (I carpool to work sometimes) and the trunk is very spacious, I was able to fit a 65” TV in the back with the seats folded. I would buy another RX in a heartbeat. One gripe though, there is no AUX input, so you will have to buy a cassette adapter or an FM transmitter to play music through the car off of your phone.
